Abbey pH Pen™

Use this pen to make a quick check of the pH of paper by applying a test line.  If when dry the line shows yellow, the paper is acidic.  If the line show purple, the paper is neutral or alkaline.  The pen is based on a chlorophenol red test.  Note that coloured papers may affect the test colours.
