The piercing cradle is used to support signatures/sections while being pierced with an awl. The bed is 230mm (9") long.
The metric piercing guide has holes every 5mm, marked every 10mm. One end has the first offset at 5mm and by flipping the guide to the other end, the offset is 2.5mm. The guide can be used with awls up to 2mm diameter.
The imperial piercing guide has holes every 1/4", marked every 1/2". One end has the first offset at 1/4" and by flipping the guide to the other end, the offset is 1/8". The guide can be used with awls up to 2mm diameter.
The guide comes with four sliding guide markers help remind the correct holes to pierce.
The cradle, guide or markers can be purchased separately.
